Cradle Mountain Chateau in Tasmania's highland is the location of a recent design & construction project successfully completed by Masters Contracting for Federal Hotels. The Chateau includes 3 function rooms, retail area, 2 offices, entry foyer, theatrette, workshop and 10 gallery rooms and exhibition rooms showcasing environmental photography. The project consisted of the installation of a gas fired hydronic heating system, designed to maintain comfort conditions of 21 degrees even when the outside temperatures are at -4 degrees. The 290kW LPG fired boiler circulates 4 litres per second of water at 80 degrees through over 1000 metres of pipework, to 86 square metres of radiator panels and 50 metres of skirting heating panels. |
