Environmental Policy:
Masters Contracting is aware of the need to maintain the natural environment
and to reduce the impact we have on the environment.
This can be achieved by:
- Minimising noise
- Minimising energy and water consumption
- Improving the efficiency of plant and equipment
- Proper disposal of waste and excess products
- Reducing pollution
- Care of natural flora and fauna
- Taking steps not to introduce foreign species
- The use of correct procedures for handling controlled substances
We are also a Green City Service Provider - an initiative of the Master Plumbers Association of Tasmania.
Workplace Health and Safety Policy:
Our management recognises the importance of its employees and that
protecting their health and well being is essential.
The objectives of our health and safety policy are to:
- Create and maintain a work environment that is safe, healthy and productive.
- To give employees adequate authority, and time and training to be effective members of a health and safety continuous improvement team.
- To fulfil and exceed our legal obligations to provide a safe workplace.
Employees have received Confined Space training by Tasmania Fire Service and CPR training by Red Cross.
Lost Time Injuries: 0 during the previous 40 months.
